Geospatial files often cover very large geographic areas. To reduce the amount of data being exported, define a spatial area by fence or view.

1. In the Spatial Criteria pane, select Fence or View as the Spatial Area. If Fence is selected, ensure a fence is placed to define your spatial extents. If View is selected, ensure your view is adjusted to only show the spatial extents of the area to be exported and specify the view number.  Only rectangular fences are supported. ­
2. If the spatial area is to be saved in the Export Settings file, set Save Spatial Area to True. See Export Settings File for further details.
